  • Good Diet for Weight Loss?

Hey guys. I am going to write out a very detailed routine of my diet and exercise. I am not really trying to loose weight but instead trying to lower body fat, and gain muscle. I want to become more cut and lean.

    Age- 16
    Weight-169
Workout- Daily I am running 2 miles. On saturday and tuesday I do boxing for about a half hour. On saturday and thursday I have football practice. I am lifting weights on monday and Wednesday. When I am not doing any of this I am usually on computer or watching TV.

    Diet-
    Breakfast- Cereal, Bananna
10:30am- Small tigers milk energy bar.
Noon- Usually a chicken lunch with salad with ranch dressing, vegetables, potatoes and yogurt.
    4 PM- 40g Proetin Shake
6 PM (dinner) usually some sort of meat dinner with vegetables.

About 100 oz. of water a day. And 16 oz. of Arizona green tea a day.

I never eat anything past 7pm.

I also am drinking Goji Juice and take fish oil pills.

Will this diet and lifestlye work for losing fat and becoming cut/lean?

    Cut out breads, red meat.

Eat lean meats and veggies and in small portions and constantly do things to keep your metabolism up.

I had to lose weight fast i did it on basically a fiber and protein diet.

Baked bean on dry brown bread and fish like Tuna with cucumber, onion and to flavour it add malt vinigar.

Eat plenty of Fiber not only will it fill you and flush your system but in the long run eaten regulally prevent Colon Cancer the biggest cancer killer in me.

I also drank diet energy drinks (i work nights) not great for you but they are a stimuli and crub hunger and keeps you on the move.

Its not easy but a little will power and within a few weeks along with Cardio Bike/Run 3x a week you`ll be losing weight like its fasion.

      But it is 95% willpower.

If you want to lower your body fat I'd suggest a mainly Cardio based routine with calisthenics to increase muscle mass. So a lot of running, skipping, swimming etc. to burn your excess fat but also mix it with press ups, pull ups, crunches etc. to improve upper body strength. For diet I'd suggest a lot of fruit and vegetables and oatmeal porridge in the morning. Just eat sensible and the fat should come off you if you're burning enouhg of it with your cardio.

U can't loos fat and gain muscle. Ur body will only make more muscle mass when it knows u are not starving. Thats why bodybuilders fisrt follow a bulk diet , eating lots of fat. And then when they got enough muscle mass they follow a cut diet to loos all the fat. U can't have both

Yes you can. It's just easier to build muscle on a bulk diet.
