yeah, their good for sparring because in sparring the point isnt to hurt the other person its to work on technique

the ringside safety gloves are much softer and padded than the everlast pros.

the everlast pros have less, harder padding.

the only thing i like better about the everlast pros, is the wrist protection. the ringside safety doesnt have as good wrist protection as the everlast pros.

iight i got the gloves so i did up a lil review on em..

EVERLAST 16 oz professional training gloves
          hook and loop
          white

they are pretty good gloves. the best feature about them is the look and fit, it fits over the knuckle and wrist properly. the worst feature is the stiffness in in the padding which makes it extra hard until broken in...

          comfort: 7/10
          look: 10/10
          safety: 8/10
          design: 8/10
          padding: 6/10
          quality leather: 9/10
          wrist closure: 7/10

          overall: 7.5 / 10

only cuz they are kinda not the safest gloves due to padding, if the gloves arent broken in right, a hand injury can happen...

good gloves tho for the price. to get ratings better then this, u gotta go with winning or grant, everything else will be close..

headgear hasnt come yet, ill post that review up once i get it
