  • Training gloves (Tuf wear?)

I'm looking for a new set of training gloves. I know most of you love Grant gloves, but I can't seem to find an european online store that sells them. My options basically come down to: Tuf Wear, Rival, Everlast and Reyes

At first I was very interested in the Reyes gloves, but I hear they're puncher's gloves and the coaches at my gym won't allow for those during sparring. I know little about Rival, but I hear good things. Everlast seems to be the conventional brand so that might be an option, but I was interested in getting some info about Tuf Wear gloves. I know SRL used to wear them, but I haven't heard anything about them in years.

Some help would be greatly appreciated

I had some cleto reyes wouldnt recommend them for sparring the padding is extremely hard, also got a pair of winnings a couple months back expensive as hell but these gloves are great, very comfy nice and soft so you dont bust your sparring partner up too bad and good for your hands i used to get bruised knuckles occasionly but have not had that problem with my winning gloves.

Thanks guys! Here in Holland, kickboxing is the more popular sport so we boxers usually end up using harder, poorer quality gloves, that's why I'm looking at shops in the UK and ebay. The only gloves I've been using are housebrand gloves sold by the only (real) boxing gear supplier in my city, but the quality is lacking.

Winning sounds great, I don't mind the price, but I wonder if they're worth buying at this stage of my boxing. I don't get bruised knuckles very easilly, I do however get cuts from gloves when I don't grease up my hands before working out.

The adidas gloves sound interesting, I'll try looking up some reviews.

alot of the lads at my gyms seem to use gold gym sparring gloves to use on the bags aswell.

i cant find grant gloves either but i think they would cost at least £70 anyway

only the reyes fight gloves are punchers gloves because they have little padding over the knucles
