you cannot spot reduce fat. If you lose weight the fat will come from all over the body. For most men the mid/lower section is the last to go.

I'm not saying you can eat all the Ben & Jerries and cheese cake you want as that will seriously affect your performance while training and will increase chances of getting heart disfunctions. Just know your own limits and find a balance, the results speak for themselves.

I myself snack a little almost everyday, but when I compensate with hard work I see myself losing flab sooner than gaining it.

You can have days where you can just pig out
Next day knowing youve ate all the junk food you will be even more motivated
Also doing situps while youre pretty fat is not a good idea as you will just look fatter as the muscle builds under the fat
