I used to love running in the cold.

It is better mentally for you even though you may get more miles done in the treadmill.

I love the cold running. It was below 20 degrees when i went this morning and was warmer than the past few days. Running in the cold makes your body work harder to retain heat... hence more burned calories...

I bought the Under Armour Cold Gear compression tights, best $49 spent.... i just throw a pair of gym shorts on over them, up top i layer up.

However rather then take medication every morning (or night) I'd like to know if anybody knows of a way to prevent this...

I heard somebody I know say something about curving your tongue up to prevent the cold air from hitting your throat but that seemed strange...

        thanks for any help
Most important thing to wear is something over ur head and hands because that keeps you warmer.
