  • i tested my strength and endurance

there was a contest in my fitness first gym the other day. 4 teams of 4 who did the exercise together as a team. It was a "team building exercise between personal trainers and clients. I couldn't join because of work so i decided to do the test yesterday alone.

    3 K run
    1 K rowing
    5 K bike
    30 pull ups
50 push ups on swiss ball

it took me 38 min to complete. (you only count the time you took for the specific exercise, in between the exercises you can take a short 2 minute rest. make sure when you do the pull ups and push ups, the time will not stop until you did them all!)

The best team of 4 did it in 22 min so i think i did pretty well alone.
It may look easy at first, but i got smashed with the last two exercises.
Try it and get ready to get exhausted!

Ay man, that's some good stuff! I'm looking more at the 30 pull ups....that is a very impressive number. The most I did "ever", when i was like 19 was 23 pull ups. But I knocked out 103 push ups in two minutes, in the Army Physical Fitness Test.

oh man the pull ups went really well up to 12 and then it was hell to reach 30 but the push ups on the swiss ball was even worse, i have never felt so weak and out of balance. For you who don't know this exercise: you place your feet on the floor, your hands on the big plastic ball and do the push ups. When you are tired you simply fall of the ball after 2-3 pushups....

Do the pullups you have to do have to be in one set? Or can you do about 20, rest for 10 seconds, do 5 more, rest, and finish off the five? Otherwise, good test, and good result man!

you can rest but the timer will go on so it will take you longer to finish....

I suggest to mix up the exercises because i became really weak middle of the pull ups. (run, pull ups, pushups, row, bike)

Well if the exercise was originally in that order, it's designed to make you tired in the end. Don't mix it up to make it any easier for yourself...just work at it, and you won't feel as tired in the long run .

you are right. I will try it again end of next week and see if it gets any easier.
