    Style

What type of boxer should I be? I'm short 5'4. My reach is same as my height so not that long reach. I'm not to strong. Around featherweight weight. I like the boxer types but with my short stature is being a swarmer/infighter better (Have to bulk up more then of course)? And not a slugger for sure. Just wondering on other people's opinions...

Kayo is spot on mate, you just need to get in the ring and see what suits...you'll soon find if you've got any style at all.

I boxed about twice. Still dont knwo my style. Actually first time I boxed it was for fun with my friend so I guess that doesnt count. I think outboxing suits me but do you guys have any tips for a outboxer with short height and arms (shorter punching range).?

the way you fight when you first hop in there determines wich category you will fall under not the other way around . you dont pick your fighting style and than go do it in the ring . you just gotta do what comes natural.

it's actually back yard but in jan im go join a local gym. Some of my friends go to the gym so it's not all slugfest and stuff (taking out my first one). I train at my house with my double end, speed, and heavybags. (Also running, jumprope, pushups. etc.)

in that case i'd wait till you go to a gym to decide your "Stye" and would also recommend you dont do any sparring with your friends because your just going to develope bad habbits
