  • I can't stand milk - big disadvantage?

    I haven't drunk any milk in over 5 years and I train constantly. Would drinking milk on a regular basis really help me?

    yeaa i drink a half gallon a day about and i get like 800 calories a day from it and like 70 grams of protein or so... **** is serious it would only help
    its an aquired taste lol i sound like im 5 saying that but you get a thirst for it after awhile

      Milk is a widely debated topic. Some say its great, others say its terrible. I don't think its the best personally, but I do drink it.

        I don't touch the stuff. as a source of calcium it's second-rate and the protein is hard to digest compared to whey. I prefer whey protein in fresh-made juice.

          no, milk is simply a source to nutrition, if you get it from other sources youll be fine.

            you can get the nutrition from milk in different sources. I barely ever touch the stuff unless forced. Im lactose intolerant and its a mess if i have it

                Its good, it sure as hell isnt bad. Its a more natural source of protein than anything else besides meat.

                    No. Milk is horrible for you. It is stuffed with sugar and hormones you do not want in your body. There are plenty of supplements out there for protein, whey being one of the most popular. If I go running after consuming any dairy I feel like garbage... my mouth foams up and I am have to constantly spit. It's meant to get you through being a baby... not to drink as an adult.
