It's as hard as you make it. Go 30 minutes on the hardest setting. That's 1200 calories/hour, equivalent to sparring. I use it when my knees are giving me trouble; I go 60 minutes at about 30% on the machine here at our apartment complex, equivalent calorically to a steady, six mile run.Comment
