Dieting: when does it get too much?

I'm dieting at the moment. I was 14 and a half stone (bout 90 something Kilos like 95/ just over 200lbs) That was a few months ago. I went on a diet and started the gym and lost nearly a stone in 2 weeks then started to level out not losing so much. I hurt a testicle somehow lol (not so funny at the time) so stopped and came off my diet and stopped the gym and stayed at 13.5 stone.

Just started again a week ago lost another 6lbs ish so now Im just over 13.

Today I woke up at 1pm, had an apple and went to the gym got a lucozade. Burned at least 500 calories there then came home and thought wouldn't have anything else till dinner.

Then someone said I hope you dont start eating into your heart or something. So now Im paranoid ha.

I dont see unless theres something wrong with my body why it would start burning at other stuff while I got fat reserves.

But even still I want to check on here when dieting is too much out of interest as well.

    Ignore them. You're doing fine.

It always comes off fast at first and then slows down. Just keep at it

Just keep a balanced diet its much safer than dieting then stopping. Plus exercise will lose the fat.

Your metabolism has probably slowed down eating so little.

        Read this http://www.rossboxing.com/thegym/thegym5.htm

Exactly, you really need to eat every 3 hours, as long as it's nuticious and doesnt contain too much fat you'll be fine. If you don't eat for long periods of time your metabolism will slow down. This will result in every meal you'll be eating after that will be processed rapidly and carbs and fats will be stored faster. Your body will also extract glucose from your muscles which will make those long hours in the gym worthless

I'd recommend splitting your meals, smaller portions will be easier and quicker to burn while it will keep your metabolism working.
