I am having the ****iest luck getting rid of this weight and the past couple weeks have been terrible for me mentally. It seems like everytime I have a fight coming up everyone wants to **** with me and give me a hard time, even my own weight is joining along for the ride! I usually weigh 152 but latly ive been stuck at 160-164. I dont know if its because im still growing and im 16 years old. I am really starting to loose hope and motivation towards my training and boxing. Does anyone know how to cut weight the right way because I dont know if im goona be able to just fail on making weight for this fight, It will mean too much to me to fail. Please help me out and by the way this bull**** could not be because I dont work my ass off in the gym not to mention I run atleast 2-4 miles 3-4 times a week.
2-4 miles 3-4 times a week is no where near enough.

If you are only going to run 3-4 times a week then you need to be running at least 6 miles.

If you are running every day you can get away with 4 miles. I personally do 5 miles a day and step it up my running until I am at 8 miles a day on fight night. 8 miles a day is not for everyone, but I personally feel that if you are not running 5 miles a day you are not ready to fight.

yeah i know i can get down to 69kg by just sweating it out from 72-73kg, you can do it mate. It's not just good enough to eat the right food sometimes, eat less more often. That way when you do pig out you wont eat as much as your stomach will have shrunk to accomodate the reduced meal sizes.
