Lost last night...

Ahh well... split decision, got fight of the night..but just fell short.

What a mega bout though, both of us were up for it. Bashed the crap outta each other. Haha, i can't wait to see the video, i'm thinking its more Gatti vs. Ward than PBF vs. DLH.

My mates say i was robbed, but in my heart i know i got hit more than i hit him so fair enough. I hit him harder, he hit me more..by the narrowest of margins.

When i get the rematch i'll take him though. I got steamed out (i'm bunged up with a cold and couldn't breath properly during the bout with my blocked nose). But no excuses.

Crowd were loving it. I was so buzzed by the crowd that i wasn't concentrating too well - it wasn't till about the end of round two i realised that i should be parrying his jab - by then it was too late.

1st round - easily to me
2nd - he took it
3rd very close - at one point i thought he was gunna hit the floor..but..

Just thought some of you'd like to know - cos i told some of you folks what was happenign on friday night (verse) etc..

My mates son fought last night he's 11 and had lost his 1st two fights on points (was robbed the 1st fight, 2nd was a far result) so going into it he was downhearted but he boxed class, gave the lad a standing count after 30 seconds then the ref called it off after a minute
My mates son was buzzin it was a big confidence booster for him.

You just gotta go watch the video and figure out what you did that you can improve.It might take some time to get it down but if you do it right you'll come out alot more better next time.

Try taking the ***** way out in amateur,hit them and get the hell out of there.(What I might start doing)It seems like countering is the remedy for amateur boxing also. Well good luck next time looking foward to the video.
