Hello I am an amateur boxing and on my off days I need some type of work out to do. Here is the workout I do now:

    10-1 Push-ups
    10-1 Sit-ups
    10-1 Squats
    3 rounds of Skipping
    20 minute jog

I was wondering if I should do more of each and what other work outs I could add to help myself get faster and tougher and stronger. So if some of you boxers could give me some tips that would be great. Thanks you all.

thats not a very good workout to be quite honest with you. theres barely any intensity in there.

unfortunately tho, NO ONE here is gonna type u a routine, for 2 reasons. one, it is impossible to outline a boxers workout by typing a "regimen" as a boxers workout will literally be different daily, and two, there is a search function and thousands of these type of threads.

      on ur off days, do:
      roadwork
      jump roping
      conditioning
      strength work
      footwork
      hand speed

it really isnt hard to make a workout for the day, there arent any secrets in a boxers workout these days, especially if u have a trainer...

Get up in the morning and run for 40-60 minutes. Not matter how early it is or even if it's cold and pissing down. If you have no discipline you will get absolutely nowhere.

Mix the runs up a bit with some longer slow runs and some shorter fast runs and some interval training (jog, sprint, jog, sprint, jog).

10 push ups, sit ups & squats is nowhere near enough. This can take you no longer than 5 minutes to do it all.

Start by doing sets of 20 push ups and sit ups for maybe 5 sets. Keep improving the number of reps as you get better.

10 reps for squats is ok but do more sets. Push yourself!

Try doing 6 rounds of skipping but take a longer break in between rounds if you can't. Throw a few rounds of shadow boxing in aswell. Practice makes perfect.

I have no idea of your situation (weight, height, motivation etc.) but if you're serious about boxing in the slightest you seriously need to up your traning starting now.

There's alot of friendly and helpful people that post in the traning forum so if you ever want to know anything or want people to let you know how you're doing and how you can make it better just ask.
