What are some feints you use while sparring/fighting?

I did this while sparring once I'd just feint a left hook and buddy would lean waaay over to his left so I'd just smash him with a right uppercut or shovelhook (depended on the way he leaned). It probably wouldnt work with a real boxer very well but I was boxing a buddy with no real experience (like me). Hed usually get mad and flurry with his ***** lil shots so I'd cover up while hes close and mix in some tight uppercuts when it felt safe (safer....he hits like a girl lol).

I've always feinted with my whole body to the right in hopes they throw a left hook then I'd slip it and come with a right uppercut.

Cool I never thought of feinting with anything other than my hands.

I used the old Duran short distance combination and then about 30-40 seocnds later (I'd actually count ten or fifteen to twenty steps forward in my head) and then throw with full extension. That is, if you use a one-two / left-right or even one-two-threee, jab-straight-hook throw them about 6 or 8 inches short the first few times until your opponent started to close the gap. Then throw them full out and it would be a can't miss combination / series. The best I ever had was against a guy about 150 when I was weighing 190, despite his weight and speed advantage he would be so comfortabley in range I would catch him with at least two or all three punches off that combo, but the key was throwing all three in sequence after I'd let him get comfy. Being patient and not rushing the shots was key in throwing short, because I know if a quick guy had timed me off of one they'd be able to pile up counters and run roughshod over me. Not quite a feint but as close as I (a slow guy) could get away with for feinting over the quicker guys.

there are diff. ways of feinting.

jab is the most common one as it is the most flexible weapon.
sometimes I feint with my shoulders and ofcourse by footwork seeing how my opp. reacts againts lunges ,ducks and weave then adjust my self.

Im with fighting flip on this, 70% of all my feints are done with the jab and left hook. The other 30% is done with either lots of body movement and sometimes the right cross to make my opponent blink to set up a left uppercut (im an orthodox fighter).

So for example, left jab (feint) to left hook/uppercut
left jab (feint) to overhand right cross

On a related noted i sometimes purposely overuse feints to get my opponent over confident and sometimes set his feet allowing me to more effectively unload on him. I do this mainly in the muay thai ring.

For example, several left jabs to left elbow strike. (I got a couple of KOs doing this)

You need to know how to feint well if youre a bob and weave boxer in my opinion.

                Its a big obstacle.

My feints vary, depending who I'm up against.
