  • awesome ab workout(s)

man, med. ball wood chops are pretty intense/good. the side-to-sides really felt like i was working my arm endurance as well.

did 120 (3x10's) up/down wood chops with 15 lb. med. ball and either 100 or 120 side/sides with the 15 lb.'er one day last week. starting sunday going to do 150 of both on sund/tues/thurs. honestly felt like they burnt up my abs more than anything.. this side of properly done pikes.

i prefer hitting a tire with a sledgehammer, or chopping wood, but i agree those are great movements for the abs. good for ab strength, good for power, good for conditioning, GOOD!

i do those. sounds something like a pike morphed with a bicycle. bicycles are too easy for me because of my length and upper ab strength, no real wrk there it seems like.. compared to the other workouts.

Ab wheel works for me...Its one of my favorites... You should all love this it works great.

With the upside down sit-ups with 20 pound medicine ball tossed up half way.

leg raises... the 6 inches is great... i use to hate those until i got good at them.

RUNNING.... slow... for maybe 40 mins... start to make them show so great... after a week or 2 of doing them. *(i know thats kinda more the way they look than training them.. but I thought I'd throw it in there)*

mate that is almost my favourite ab drill, try this one it works a beauty, Trust me you will feel it as well. Sit in a half crunch on the ground, as low as you can hold with a straight back. (don't sit up at like 90 degrees or theres no point doing it as the lower you are the more you feel it). Get a partner to throw you the 10 kg ball down at you and stay in the half crunch, you throw it back and keep that going for two minutes. Your abs will be on fire by the end of it and you will thank me. I got that ab wheel yesterday that is a beauty, works the lower back. Can only do a couple of the standing ones in a row so will have to build it up, but im glad i bought it for sure.

the trainer at my gym threw the medicine ball at my stomach a hundered times today and it made me feel like I was wasting all those hours doing crunches. definitely gotta start doing that regularly.
