It's all personal oppinion if you feel its severe don't spar for a few days next time try not getting tagged so much because it's only putting you farther behind.

pop some motrin and drink water. probably shouldn't spar as long as you feel pain or grogginess in your head.

Either, or. Motrin and Advil are the same stuff; ibuprofen. Aspirin works, also.

What rj_ct said, above, should be gospel -- it certainly is from my doc: DO NOT SPAR WITH A HEADACHE. PERIOD. EVER. Read up on Second Impact Syndrome. It's real, and it's a threat in our sport.

Rest up, hit the bag and the pads if you feel restless. But no sparring until your headache goes away.

I get them too, but I think its a bad sign. I think its a good idea to take a day off if you get a bad one. If you do train I'd stay away from the heavy bag too because that can send some impact back up and jar your head a little too... not much but its better to rest. I've also heard that staying well hydrated can help avoid concussions or help recover or something. I don't remember the details of why but it sounded logical and can't hurt either way.
