its about 3 quarters of a mile or a mile away from my house and i joined up today, not a boxing gym, just weight training for now ... but will my body be too tired to lift weights by the time i get there? the complex its self actually has a running track but i just thought it could be a good idea ..

3/4 of a mile is nothing if your in decent shape. most trainers (weight trainers) suggest 5 or more minutes on a treadmill to get the blood flowing anyhow, so by the time you get to the gym youd be warmed up. If you are gassed then just walk around plan out what your gonna do there till your good to go.

My best mile these days is 5:14 but I'm dog**** for the rest of the day. I can run a mile in eight minutes -- a little over a brisk jog -- and my pulse will be back to normal in fifteen minutes. 3/4 mile should be a nice little warmup.
Going home after 5 sets of squats should be a laugh a minute. I wouldn't run to a gym on leg day.
