  • I accidentally bought 14oz gloves thinking they were heavy bag gloves.

Question is is it ok to hit the heavy bag with regular 14oz boxing gloves as opposed to specific heavy bag gloves. Does it make a real big difference? ANy info would be appreciated. Thanks.

personally I found actual bag gloves to be better. You feel the impact more and can tell more easily if you hit it well. Also my bag is only 75lbs and when I wear the heavier gloves the chains up top come off like every 30 seconds and you have to stop and fix it which ruins the whole round, it still happens with the bag gloves but far less often. It could be cause my bag is so low as well. Basically I like bag gloves but I'm no boxer....yet

Why in the hell are you punching a Woman's bag?

Anyways I have a 150 lb Everlast at home, and I use either 12 oz super bag title gloves............or these cheap 160 oz everlasts.
