    84 pound x-vest

i had this vest for a few years and its def one of the greatest investments i ever made. i usually work plyos and explosive movememnts with it, and pushups and pullups when im at home. i recently started to do sprints with it on jus loaded up with 20 pounds and the effects were pretty good, but my trainer told me to load it up with all 84 pounds and jus sprint 20-40 yards AS FAST AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE with it, then walk back to starting point, and do it again. i thought this was for endurance, but he told me to do it for better lateral movement and foot speed. i been sprinting with the 84 pounds all loaded in the vest for the past 2 weeks, 3 days a week, and i can EASILY notice a difference in speed when in the ring, and have had many comments recently on how much faster my movement and foot speed has been.

jus thought id share if anyone is curious about weighted vest training, definitely get on that ****, its tremendous. the x-vest i have was like 300 some dollars, but its worth every penny cuz it spreads the weight out so evenly its not awkward at all, and u jus put it on and put a sweatshirt over top of it and it aint too bulky its a great exericse supplement. if ur thinkin about gettin one, GET ONE! ...

I've wanted one for a long time, a bit expensive though...

Thinking about getting a 40lbs one for sprinting stairs... live in a highrise, so the stairwell replaces the road in my roadwork when the weather sucks.

Does it put a lot of strain on your knees?

yea dude pulluups in the vest are the bomb yo, i love doing them thats one of my favorites. i dont really do regular pushups in it, i do explosive pushups with like 20-25 pounds loaded up, and squat jumps as well.

not much because i sprint only short bursts with it on, no more than 20-40 yards...

when i run intervals or 200- 600 meter sprints, i dont wear more than 20 pounds in it.
