You didnt commit to the second one, to my understanding arent you supposed to throw only jabs and straights? mixing in other punches Ive found just makes it easier on you. Youve got quick hands tho I may have to throw more punch outs into my routine after seeing that. Also why isnt your face in your avatar?

ur right it does make it easier on you, I didnt commit on those.

y isnt my face in the avatar? strange question from a dude, but I had to click the button myself to take the picture, so I had to stand real close to my computer.

Very nice speed... but that was only 15 seconds a piece right...

        Try 30 like normal boxers.

Very nice speed though. I Would love that.

good speed you got there. u gotta do them for 30 seconds tho and keep the punches all straight. u can do punchout drills with hooks and uppercuts too, but from my experience i think its best to do punchouts with jabs / striahgts together and hooks and uppercuts together.

          fast hands. good job.

Just to let you all know I do, do 30 seconds punch out drills, but those are last, after I do 600 meter repeats, like a finisher. Theirs other things I do to.

From what I understand, the more total time you've practiced at a certain intensity, the faster your body will adapt to that intensity, you wont be improving endurance of course with 15 sec., but its supposed to improve maximum speed. Keep having your body practice at its highest intensity, or closest to it. If I do my punchouts after doing 150 pushups, the intensity is slower, you feel the burn, the pain, but no matter how hard you try, your still punching slower.

The 15 seconds, I do 15 of them. Its 3:45 total of highest intensity punching. Its 15 seconds so I can always start the next one close to fresh, close to my highest intensity,. I would have to do 8 x 30 sec. punch out drills for that total time, but of course thats extremely fatigueing and even though I'll feel the burn, my punch intensity will be less overall than in the overall time for the 15 second.

In case you didnt understand, its like this. If your trying to improve maximum sprint speed, not endurance, it wouldnt be a good idea to do your workouts right after doing squats, because you legs are tired. Instead of running at sub 60 sec. for 400 meter repeats, you'll be doing the repeats at sub 68 secs. because your legs are tired.

you want a version of a punch out drill which is heaps harder ?

Notice how your standing at a distance from the bag so that it is an extended punch distance away.

Try standing right next to the bag and then punch out keeping the bag at 45 degrees or more away from you. You have the weight of the bag and gravity to fight against, making it heaps heaps harder
