im looking for tips tequnuqes and tricks ect. thigns i can show to impress my trainer and get my medical card i need to know things i can do improve to, impress and show i can box, im fairly decent, tall,good jab, get caught especially during flurries from oponent i dont know what to do i cover up and move but its hard. plz pots tips tricks i can use to impress, things i can do to my oponent that he will for for, or catch him out, how to look on top and look strong doing it . thnx

some tips we can give you here are: perfect your jab, perfect your defense, perfect your footwork, practice your perfections daily, never stop working hard. everything else only your trainer can help you bud.

practice makes perfect. didn't your teach tell you that when you were learning how to spell? zoink. obviously not. ha, just kidding.. hell, that's probably a better attempt at technique than most boxers would give.

These "special tricks and techniques" that i believe you are referring to come from experience, confidence and hard training. I personally don't like to think of such things as "tricks", but just techniques that one is good at and especially affluent at performing. If you're new to the sport, the best way to impress your trainer is the "want" to train and the ambition to suceed.
Regarding your problem when being "flurried" by your opponent, remember to stay poised and not tense up. The only way to overcome this is just to spar and you also might want to try standing with your back to the wall/ropes and letting your opponent unload "flurries" at half power as to allow you to build confidence and experience.

If you want to impress your coaches just keep training regularly. Show a willingness to learn and show them that as soon as you step into the gym you're 100% focused on improving your skills. Also be proactive, ask questions and show your coaches that your really interested and not just going through the motions. Excuse the cliche but the coaches will see if you've got "the eye of the tiger"
The second time I ever sparred was at a public exhibition event promoting my club to the local community. It was a great buzz to hear my name and weight division announced over the PA system. I wasn't chosen for advanced skill or boxing achievements. I was chosen because of my proactiveness to support my club, and eagerness to gain extra experience.
