i read that cardio helps burn calories for 4 hours after your done. So i was wondering if splitting your road work into twice a day would be a good idea. Im thinkin it'll help me maintain a more intense pace for both (two 15min sessions instead of one 30min for example) plus burn xtra cals for 8hours instead of 4hours. I run 3 days a week currently but im workin up to more, its a discipline thing. Also im a recovering ex-smoker

i forgot to add...since its 2 15min runs instead of 1 30min would this affect my gains in stamina? the two runs are more intense but is a 30min run better even tho its less intense? i dont know much about stamina and intensity i used to lift weights not run marathons so in this aspect im kinda dumb

both but 15mins is a pretty good run 4 me cause of my wonderful lungs *cough cough*. Im not entirely sure i was hoping some answers about the intensity+length would help me make up my mind
