  • question (ANSWER ASAP)

i wanna fit in running everyday into my training schedule...

i either do boxing workouts , or weight workouts at my gym, never both in one day .. but i think running should be done everyday..

    my question is..

should i run b4 my boxing , or after ??... the only time my legs are really tired after boxing is from skipping... but most the time after boxing i could prolly run... but i dunno.... im sure its important too cuz i dont like going into boxing tired....

    what yall think

i know boxers at my gym who are active fighters usually run significantly before they work out or significantly after. For example, one of our fighters trains everyday from 2-5. He runs at night around 9 or 10. Another trains in the same time frame and runs in the early morning.

Dont wear yourself out before you train.

I jog a bit before training sometimes but usually its a different warm up like skipping.
Run at the end of training might not be so bad, pushing your body harder.

In all honesty I dont run as much as I should. Probably not the guy who you would want to listen to.

Run afterwards makes it harder for yourself i would think. But you should always do interval training as the last part of your workout and never before anything.

Run whenever you most feel like doing it. I usually like to do it an hour or two after training but sometimes a coach would have us run a few miles or do sprints before workouts. The important thing is that you do it, especially at such an early stage in your training... just do what works best for you so that you can keep doing it long term. If you need to mix it up and do it at different times to keep from getting bored then do that.. if you need to just stick to a strict routine thats good too. Find a way that will work with your schedule and everything too, otherwise you'll probably just end up not doing it or only doing it every now and then.

you don't need to go back to your gym to run. Just run around your neighborhood... or did i misunderstand you?
