  • What Equipment Do you guys use?

Serious thread, just want to see what everyone uses and tell like wether it was worth the money, if you like them and if you'd recommend.

    For gloves i have a pair of 16oz Everlast Pro's and a pair of 16oz Ringside's

    im using macho warrior headgear

and i use Budo World Shin pads for kickboxing.

The Everlast gloves are alright i can't complain but i'd recommend the ringside ones over them.

I actualy really like the headgear because i can see quite well with it on.

Then the shin pads are pretty good so far no problems cept right now im using the ones that have the velcro strap and sometimes it comes undone.

i own a pair of everlast 16 oz high perfomance gloves. i use them at my house, but not at the gym. they're not very good- i've hurt my hand with them more than once.

all the rest of this stuff is what they have at my gym:

12 and 14 oz title classic for bag gloves. no complaints at all. i'm shopping for a pair of bag gloves right now.

top contender 18 oz sparring gloves. they're very bulky. good job of stopping the shock from being transmitted.

title full face training headgear. really like it. chin protecter is nice. cheek gaurds obscure the vision sometimes.

Bah... there ok. Infact.. no there not. I don't reckno i'll buy another pair after i've done with these.

There very large and very well padded (despite the reputation that Reyes have). The padding is very thick, but almost too thick. It takes quite an effort to maintain a fist - and its not just because they haven't been broken in, because i've boxed a hundred or two rounds in them.

However...the look good! if thats any consilation. Plus they protect my aching hands very well (which is why i bought them).
