We might go to those, but I'm not optimistic. By my count, 9 of the final 16 are from Europe. Theoretically, all 8 european Olympic spots could be gone before those tournaments... More likely, there'll be 2 spots for each tournament, meaning a you have to get to the final.
Since those two tournaments are in Greece and Hungary, and the Hungarian and the Greek boxer are out of the Worlds, they'll be competing on home soil, which will make them very hard to beat.
Then there's the Brit, the Irishman, the Ukranian, the Frenchman, the Pole and whoever doesn't move on from the 1/8 finals. I have to admit that it looks like a little too much for him right now...
He'll need a little more experience. He'll be 24 for the 2012 Olympics, which isn't bad if you're not an American, Russian or Cuban.
