Jack dempsey had a trick in is book if you read that, when in a clinch you have your head over their left shoulder in a squared off or even completely switch to southpaw, nudge their shoulder slightly back and to your left. So their natural reaction is to come back to that position, in the same movement (if in squared stance) bring your left foot back and give them a right hook to the chin or temple. Catches them walking into it and you get a lot of power behind the shot. This can be illegal, although only if the ref breaks the clinch first, if you can break the clinch yourself which i'm sure you can it's all legal. It's not much different from what your saying but if you can fight both ways it's a good way to surprise your opponent than just switching while circling.

Another few good one's i've heard of is if the guy likes to do big parries jab at his left glove. If you catch him out he wil cross his arms and leave his side of his face wide open. It also stops them from countering your jab with their own if you want to try neautralize it.

Oh a final one is when you get someone in a corner, switch to south and right hook, i know tyson and a few others used to do this a lot of the time. As most people are taught or naturally exit the corner to their left.

    Hope those help

There's nothing like getting hit in your family ***els, nothing! The pain is excruciating and it takes awhile to get back into the fight if hit with a good nut shot.
With a cup, it shouldn't matter. I took a right hook to the beanbag yesterday and I had a good quality groin protector on. It hurt but I was able to finish the round. Wasn't nearly as bad as taking a left hook squarely in the liver.

I have found that stepping on the guy's toes works really well. He ALWAYS looks down. Step on the toes and follow with an uppercut. As a southpaw, the ref lets it slide; orthodox fighters and southpaws step on each other's toes all the time.

Splitting the guar with your head. Having your head slightly ducked duck.. you eye-balling his feet. You bring your head up slow enough, so you don't headbutt hi or hit his chin too noticeably, but his arms seperate, and then you attack his body, when he blocks that, you go upstairs. Or, you can simply bring your head all the way up, and uppercut him on the chin if and when he tries to lean in on you. Keep your hands high when you go in to do this, because your head has to be forward slightly when you do this.

I used to progressively move my jab farther and farther away from his face and eventually be hitting his glove as he parried so that he automatically moved his glove farther away from his face.. and then I would jab-right-left hook sup over. OVER.

          CHARLIE ZENOFF KO 1
