speedbag tips / advice ??

i recently learned the speedbag, i can hit the single combos, or the two hit switch combo.. but i cant keep it going long, and i cant go fast yet... i could really use some advice / tips, my trainer didnt say a damn thing lol. just told me to hit it slow. i couldnt hit it at all but now i got it down just dont really know the technique

keep your elbow high and use the side of your fist in a circular motion. dont try to hit the bag as you see it.. its all about rhythm

**** thanks for the advice . i think i get it now. and ya unfortunately i did watch million dollar baby before. lol... but ya thanks ill practice n check that website n use sides of hands n do it in a rhythem

use that when your hitting the speed bag... timing is everything with the speed bag.

suprisingly i actually picked it up pretty damn quick , i found it easier to go by sound and rythem rather than by what your looking at , like sumone else said you hear 1 , 2 , 3 then **** hit it , 1, 2 , 3 **** hit it . itll just come natural .

keep your hands high they have a tendancy to drop and no knee jerk reaction when your hitting it , stay smooth , let your arm / hand flow in a circular motion.
