i was just watching some vids of tyson and god damn he's fast as hell with all his punches and moves. how do i speed up everything, especially punching and ducking?

oohhhh yes there is, Im 235, been between 270-300 for the last three years. My hands are faster than anybody I met in the street and faster that any body around my weight at the gym. Ive had trainers look at me confused and ask why Im so fast. Ive been doin a work out since like middle school that gave me that, when I dont do it as much I slow down. I dont really wanna just give it out cause I consider it my secrtet but youve all done it, I think its just the extent Ive done it. It involves weights...
one think I have noticed is that push ups slow me down a little though.

u say pushups slow u down?? really? i do pushups and pullups daily and they only help me....

I have also noticed that push-ups tense me up and slow me down, I no longer do them as a part of my routine, they are skipped entirely

And on the push ups. They help me alot, they had a weird correlation to me losing weight, and they make my upperbody stronger and I feel good. But I noticed in fights and slapboxing i wasnt as fast and in shadowboxing I wasnt anywhere near as fast and didnt have the snap but I think I hit harder. When Id stop doin pushups for awhile Id be looser in shadow boxing and stuff and had my speed and fluid combos back. I used to do 100 regular and 40 on my knuckles everyday and I was around 240.
