I am 15 years old and to be honest, not that strong. I am interested in boxing but would like to get stronger andin better shape. I have started running and jump rope 4 days a week. I was wondering what I should do for lifting and what i should eat to lose weight.(i did look through the recipe thread but i need more on the line of how much carbs and calories.) Any help would be great and this is a very good website

your 15. don't think lose weight, think get stronger. it seems like you've got the right idea, running and jump rope are the backbones of boxing. keep it up, add in push ups and ab exercises. but probably not weights, you're fairly young and your body may have up to FIVE more years of growth (and if you're really abnormal, you may grow until your over 20!)
