on your back. legs in the air, pointed forward as much as possible. arms out in an anchor position (if you have to, put em under your butt). pop your legs into the air, lifting your hips off the ground. good lower ab exercise.

hip pops are another good exercise.

it's about how you run. take a look at lance armstrong, the dude is built.. yet no real six pack. look at marathon runners, most are sticks that just have flat stomaches and no real definition in the ab area.

you gotta sorta push your stomache up a bit, roll your shoulders back a little and it'll really help you get washboard type abs. goes with the good posture thing a little.

Abs are made in the kitchen, not in the gym.

Cut out sugar -- that includes Gatorade, soda, juice, ALL sugar and especially anything that has "high fructose corn syrup" in it; HFCS will make your body PRODUCE fat (Gatorade has it, most candy has it, and most store-bought juice has it) -- and reduce your intake of processed food as much as possible. That's any food that comes in a box or a can. Eat only raw fruits and vegetables and only lean meat -- chicken, turkey, fish, extra-lean beef -- drink tons of water, and run every day.

          I run from 4-5 AM. Today I ate/will eat:

6 AM: 2 slices of homemade bread and black coffee
          9 AM: 2 apples
12 Noon: wheatberry salad (wheat, olive oil, cucumber, olives, feta cheese) and 5-6 slices of turkey
2 PM: a few handfuls of trail mix
4 PM: 2 bananas, 1 can albacore tuna, a few crackers
5:30 PM: dinner -- grilled salmon; cucumber, tomato and mozzarella salad; brown rice; 1 glass of white wine

I am in the gym from 6:30-8 PM

Around 8:30 PM I'll have 40g of whey protein in organic apple cider, vitamins, & a couple of bananas.

Before bed at 10 PM: 1 TBSP psyllium fiber in 8 oz. apple cider with 20 oz. water as a chaser.

I drink about half a gallon of water every day.

I lost nearly 40 lbs. in 6 months eating pretty much exactly like this and I've posted the pictures to prove it.
