  • Creatine question for the experts ! ! !

How do you feel about creatine..??? I was thinking about taking it again Only because my workouts are so intense, I need an extra boost ... Is it legal to use creatine in golden glove tournaments... I almost feel like the **** is cheating... just curious how people felt about it ... i wll not be taking creatine to get bigger ... but just to ease some of the pain i feel after workouts and to make my work outs go a lil bit smoother, just curious

    what do you guys think?

does creatine have any long term effects ?

do you have to do the loading phaze with creatine ?

is it possible to take it for a couple months and then come off it and keep your gains ???

and what is the best creatine to use ?

    How's it going bro?

I used to take creatine a while back when I used to lift weights. It gave me an incredible increase in power, both in the weights room and in sports. My improvements were very impressive, but please note that this isn't the case for everyone. The moment you come off creatine your power drops. I didn't lose all my gains, but I definatly lost some of it. The loading phase lasted about a week, then I basically had to take 2 scoops a day. I took it for about a year. It won't make your workouts feel any less painful. The best stuff to aid muscle recovery is protein and a good multi vitamin, specially vitamin B. I think the jury is still out on whether creatine causes any damage to the liver and kidneys.

My opinion is that it's not necessary for boxing.

u can take it, or u can not take it, its up to u. it helps in recovery and aiding in intense workouts. i take 3 grams a day and it helps me, and i dont gain weight doing it. u dont need that loading phase ****, thats a ploy to get u to buy more creatine cuz u use the first tub up so quickly. 3 grams a day, 1 hour before ur workout, and u'll be good. it aint cheating at all my man, its a dietary supplement in addition to a good diet and workout regimen. take it and see how u feel. alot of boxers take creatine.

glutamine helps with recovery as well, its supposed to be really good too. When i lifted weights id steal some of my roommates protein mix (when id run out) and it had some in it. My muscles were less sore after than when i took my generic protein.
