    Help Please!!!!!!!

How is everyone doin? I am in need of some desperate help. I am training for amateur boxing. I am 6' tall and currently weighing in at 210. I would like to get down to 175 in order to be able to fight at Light Heavyweight. I would like to walk around at around 183 and cut to 175 for weigh ins. I have been training for about 6 months and no matter what I cannot get the weight to come off. I am on the strictest diet and hard core training regimen. This is my training regimen for those interested.

    Monday - Friday
3 minute rounds with a 30 second break.

    5 rounds of Shadowboxing
    10 minutes of Jumprope
    5 rounds of heavy bag
    5 rounds of uppercut bag
5 rounds of double end bag
    5 rounds of speed bag
    5 rounds of mitts
    5 rounds of sparring

So i definetly work out hard enough but for some reason cannot get the weight to come off. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I do spar everyday. I spar with a guy that just turned pro. His amateur record was 16-2. We do our workout and the we spar for 5 rounds. As far as my roadwork is concerned...how far should I be running everyday?

well, dont spar everyday my man. and when u do spar, spar in the beginning of ur workout when ur fresh, and i would keep it 3 days a week or so, unless u have great work capacity and recover like wolverine lol.

as for running, what i do is run 3-5 miles every other day, and every other day i run intervals and / or sprints. i do roadwork a total of 6 days a week, as well as go to the gym 6 days a week, and lift weights once, maybe twice a week.

You do know that weigh-ins happen a couple hours TOPS before you fight in the AM's, right? It's not like pro's where you have 24-30 hours to rehydrate. So you'd be fighting at 175 when you get down to that weight. Just in case you didn't know.

Any trainer will tell you, for the AM's, fight at the weight you feel strongest at. You can't come into a fight weak.
