  • sound advice???

    a professional boxer has just given me advice to never go pro unless i have a great amateur record! and even then he says its a ****ty buisness full of backstabbing and all of that! what are your thoughts on the matter???

    welli dont know about only doing it if you have a great amateur record im sure there have been champions with medicore ones as long as you get off to a good start in your professional career i think youd be alrite.....everyones gotta start somewhere and i don't think IF a boxer has the ability to go pro he should be put off by a crap amateur record, it's more likely that if you have a national title or something then your gonna get more attention but still.

    as for boxing being a ****ty buissnes he's probably rite..... i think boxers should pay a lot of attention to the people they hire... make sure you trust them but still keep an eye on them like if you own a company your gonna get people to do your work but your still the boss....... and learn the tricks of the trade so if you do get stabbed in the back you know how to find yourself a fight and get back on your feet

    and **** DON KING and FRANK WARREN i wanna see those to go twelve rounds and have the possibilty of a lovely broken jaw and permanet brain damage at the end.....then i would think they were worthy to look after boxers

        personally i think u shud do wat ur hearts says, and a mean dont hold back just because of backastabbing etc.
