  • Help Mounting a Double ended bag

I am going to mount a double ended bag in my garage. couple of questions:

    1. instead of drilling into the floor will it work with a weight at the bottom?
    2. How long usually are the bungies/chords that connect to the ceiling? the ceiling in my garage is probably 10 feet and I want to make sure it will reach.

    thanks for the help!

Exactly what you stated is the way mine is set up it is tied to a hook welded to a 45 pound plate and then mounted to a hook in the floor joists.

ur way works, but if u can, jus drill the anchor into the floor and the other anchor into the ceiling and hang the bag from the hooks it comes with and adjust the straps to ur level of reflexes...

speaking of double end bags, i'm looking to get some for my boxing club at school. Any suggestions as to size and/or a particular brand to go with, or are they all pretty equivalant?
