  • Setting up the right hand?

I've only sparred maybe 3-4 times.. and I always have trouble setting up the right hand. I'll be able to throw my jabs and left hooks and be able to land them, but when it comes to hitting a right cross or a right anything for that matter I completely mess up and like.. dont even make contact. any tips for this? sorry if it sounds ******.

generally the right follows a jab. after the jab, get it a little closer to your opponent to throw the right.

if you cant land a straight right work on your refflexes its all about timing, egonct's right the straight follows the jab

Timing and distraction is the key.

keep practicing it until you get the timing and the speed and everytihng down pact. its all bout timing like vers said, and you gotta know when to let it go and how to step in with it and the angle ur at and everything. it seems simple, but its actually one of the hardest punches to make effective IMO...
