Check out my other thread about headgear. Tyson had Winning headgear with great vision on them.http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=141402 I cant be complete on the things I wanna do in sparring if I can hardly see. Being 5'5 and crouching to guys that range from 5'8-'6'4 isnt good for vision.

Ok, that can be a problem especially if you tend to exaggerate your body movements and/or if you religiously keep your chin down. My guess is you will probably have to use several different brands before you find the one that best suits you. What you need is a manager who will pay for them for you. Go see that guy who is managing Sam Peter. He needs a good prospect at the moment.

haha.Sam was pretty bad last night. I know which headgear I need.I just cant find it. Once I do I'd be a countering machine.Because then I can duck low and hold my gloves to my chin when in close and see the punches they're throwing and counter them. When I duck low with the traditional head gear all I see is a glimpse of arms.Although they miss,I still wanna put more countering in my game. It sucks,it really does.

There are two tall guys at my gym in my weight class who use an elbow fake with great success; primarily b/c a shorter guy in headgear can't see past their elbows when they throw a hook. They dip the elbow, you think they're going for your body with a dig so you drop YOUR elbow and right in the ear. Bastards.

Im going through the EXACT same thing man! Only worse cause I like puttin guys against the ropes so when Im in on them theyre all already taller than me but when they are standin up straight againt the ropes and im in a low crouch and duckin my head is around their stomach and the headgear blocks everything when I look up with my eyes and I end up gettin hit with ALOT of **** I never saw. It looks like Im sparring against legs. I dont know if I want to get one of them all open full face ones though cause I spar mainly heavyweights and they can do some damage, Ive been gettin bruised, cut and bloody noses with a good headgear on, but then with the flimsy one I wont get hit half as much..
