how to achieve goal of morning roadwork??

I'm coming along good when it comes to training and everything, but the only problem I seem to be having is waking up in the morning and going for a run. It's like before I go to sleep, I'm telling myself that I'm going to run at 6:00 a.m no matter what, but then when the alarm rings, I end up convincing myself with some bull**** reason not to go for a run, and end up going back to sleep again. How can I get past this and start going for my runs??

    Think of it this way.
You dont run, you dont win

Refer to what Kayo said. But also this - use some reverse psych on yourself. If you DO run, its over with and the rest of your day is the stuff you like doing.

Some fighters run in the morning and some run at night,as a feel previous posters have stated I find it easier just to get it done while your still half alseep. In the moring your fresh and time just flies while doing it at night you may be tired.

try getting up at four rather than six. get your running in, take a shower, and go back to bed.

The whole point of a.m. running is too discipline yourself to get up out of bed to do something your body does not want to do.

A.M. running is mental conditioning as much as it is physical.

I know it sounds ******, but it is what it is.
