Anyone have a working version of the Everlast link, or something similar?

I am also curious about the exact hand position inside the glove.
When I google it I get a lot of info about how to make a fist without a glove, or what part of the hand to make contact with. But not how the fingers should look inside a glove. Or what to do with the thumb.

    Thanks

Do you guys have exceptionally long fingers/large hands? I could see how small or large hands could cause hand problems with improper fitting gloves. There was one pair that I tried awhile back that I only used once because I could tell immediately they were not fitting right. Make sure the gloves you are proper fit.
One other thing, your hands take a while to get conditioned for the beatings they will take on a heavy bag. If you're a heavy puncher and just starting with boxing, they will definitely get sore.
You may need to back off the heavy bag and take incremental steps to condition your hands. Also keep in mind some pro's don't get crazy with endless power shots on the heavy bag to avoid hand problems

To strengthen your hands you can stand on rings like Lomachenko or you can use a Boxing simulator

What I learned from NSB is that for optimal power, you want the hand to not be all the way in the glove. You want the knuckles to be in the palm of the glove.

To make sure you've hit the right spot, throw a hook. The glove should flap back to about 90°, then you know you're good.

I think you must pay attention to the angle when you try to punch, You must observe where the whole power is applied, and i will suggest to try different gloves, and select those in which you feel comfortable. My coach normally advises me to warm up exercises before punching, it increases the blood flow and enhances the flexibility.

I've worked thousands of rounds and never encountered that problem. Try turning your shots over instead of just 'clubbing' the bag...…..Rockin'
