  • Back to saprring.... a bit uneasy.

For a long time I had been training sub grappling/BJJ 5 days a week, and boxing two. Boxing was a side event at the gym and not a main focus, but our training was hard, but the sparring was pretty light. I competed a lot in sub grappling, but never boxing. but started to love boxing more training wise, and as a sport...

I get hit by a car.... broken jaw, both knees f'd, shoulder f'd, concussions the whole bit and 9 months of no working out, 6 months physical therapy.

Health comes back and i decide to join a boxing gym. I joined a very good gym that has a lot of really good boxers. fast forward two months and today it will be back to sparring. I have had 3 really hard sparring sessions in the past, the others were always light work with no headgear.

One of the trainers also approached me to have a match in early november. I am dieing to compete again, win lose or draw.

I'm nervous agin like the first time I ever sparred, its like de ja vu.

The only thing you can do is just jump back in with both feet. You've came this far, dont stop now.
