  • Lost My First Amateur Fight.. Story from the fights as well.

I'm going to be completely honest in this post, this is by far one of my worst experiences.. I won the first round, lost the second, standing 8 in the third.. Got mauled in the fawking ropes and shyed from the punches, Refferee threatened to stop the fight. Definitely a wake up call for me. I used to always be the tough guy in school and have been in streetfights and got pumped up by the crowd and my friends I was sure I would easily beat the guy. I would give an analysis of the fight but I honestly don't remember much of the fight. But what I do know is that I will be back within the year for my second fight, I will be twice the fighter I was before. I know my mistakes and I plan on fixing them..

BTW, after I finished my fight, and went down to the dressing room, I came back up to watch the rest of the fights and there was an exhibition match coming up. If you are not familiar with exhibition matches they are basically glorified sparring sessions, well anyways the crowd is screaming for this guy in the red corner to beat the guy in the blue corner a young fighter who has faught on the national level. Well apparently the up and coming fighter in the red corner didn't seem to care that this fight was for his own learning purpose.. As he came out with no respect for the more experienced blue fighter trying to knock him out. The blue fighter handed him a stiff boxing lesson, with two standing 8 counts in the second round and finally a third round stoppage by way of RSC.

BTW, props to Speedkills for his big win.

          ^^^ What he said.

You got in there and went the distance; you didn't let the ref stop the fight. That's huge. You have nothing to be ashamed of. One thing about this sport that sucks: someone has to lose.

On the plus side, there's a lot to learn from getting your ass kicked. I speak from experience on this.
