What would be more of a setup punch to you? A hard jab,or a fast jab in your face.

yeah a mix would be the best I think, so they don't know what is coming.

Mixing them up is by far superior.
I was gonna say the same (along the lines of the way you said it) But then I figured everyone would come to that conclusion anyway.

All good reasons for on or the other though...but both just make a better fighter.

I like to go more for a hard jab than a slow, like someone else said if your jab hurts them, they will be more cautious about moving in closer because they know if your jab hurts your other punches are gonna hurt a hella lot more.

And throwing a fast, light jab might make them think they can just walk right in... and THAT'S when you punish them.

There's no way around it; do both.

both.. but as far as a set up jab.. i like a stiff jab that'll actually get them to react and go back. gives you time to follow up
