headgear question

are amatuer competition headgears weighed differently or padded lass than normal training headgears ?

like for example the everylast brand.. their competition headgear looks pretty much the same as traditional / old skewl..

whats the dif ?

yea i think the weight is a little different, the old school ones are a little bit heavier i believe and the amateur ones are padded differently (better) for better protection and so the headgear doesnt slide when u get hit.
