  • Having hand surgery on Wednesday, a little nervous about getting put under

Yeah, the time is here...My second surgery for my hand is scheduled for Wednesday, in April they put a rod in my hand to make room for the graphed tendon to go from my little finger to another tendon near my wrist, so I can make a proper right fist. See, all the boxing I ever did, I did with a messed up right hand. I could never really throw a right cross accurately as hard as I could punch because of being unable to contract the muscles in the forearm and fist, if you lose ability to contract that pinky, believe me, it disrupts the power line so badly that I completely abandoned throwing a cross, and only threw right hooks. I've had 2 surgeries on this same thing when I was 21, both times the tendon snapped less than 2 weeks after the surgery.

This time I'm working with the second best hand surgeon in the nation, (Working at a charity hospital, surgery is free of charge to me because I am low income and have no health insurance)

He is going to do things differently this time around, connecting a tendon which will be graphed from my leg that is one that is unused and won't affect my mobility, to my right little finger, going from the top of it, and connecting it near a tendon by my wrist. The normal connection, goes from the top of the little finger to around the base of it, but it breaks alot easier right there so he's doing it near my wrist .I hope it doesn't affect the muscles in the fist, when a fist is made... Anyway, I gotta do it at 5 a.m. on wednesday...

I remember i was nervous before i went under the knife for some surgery. But i mean at the end of the day, your hand is not TOO serious.

When i went in to get my penis shortened i was nervous as hell, but, lo and behold when i woke up, the doctors had managed to cut and rebuild it to a reasonible seven inches.

So don't worry, these docs are proffesionals. Good luck!
