I just started 2 weeks ago and just went to my 3rd bi-weekly session today. I really want to get my foundation as solid as possible and not lose sight of my own style. I hope i can be boxing ammy in 6 months.

How long have you been training for and what goals have you set for yourself?

been boxing since like 7..but got serious with a gym just last year..i wish i would of started earlier then that..i wanna have at least 20 am fights and win golden gloves..but if i ever made it to the olympics i would turn pro..but other then that..20 am fights is fine with me

i started about 4 years ago my goals are to win golden gloves and to turn pro and if that dont happen atleaststart my own boxing gym.

I just started boxing about 4 months ago and it's the first thing that I've really committed to and been excited about in a long time. As funny as it sounds, playing a lot of Fight Night got me interested in watching boxing which then got me interested in learning how to box. My goal is to really learn the art of boxing and become a well rounded boxer, participate in at least one amatuer bout, and get down to 168-170 (I was 197 before I started boxing in May and am now 178). I'm probably in the best shape of my life due to the training I've been doing in which I made a decision to quit smoking and eat healthier. I really got hooked on this sport.

it sounds like the sport turned your life around.

I am 31 and I have been doing boxing for 5 months, I started as a way to loose weight and get fit. I have surprised myself and developed a love for this sport. My goal is to train harder and get myself ready for a White Collar boxing event my gym holds, and hopefully many more after that.
