  • Is this a good breakfast?

    Oatmeal

2 slices of white bread (with nothing on it)

And a healthy shake I make myself (2whole bananas+honey+2 eggs)

In total its about 26g of protein put together.

Because i'm trying to put on weight, i'm underweight and i'm only 15 years old.

    (5'6, 107LB , i'm ripped at this weight, i can do like 80 push-ups and non-stop
sit ups, etc..but its too skinny, boxing has really burned my calories, and i have a fast metabolism, i just cant keep up with the weight i'm trying to accomplish which is like 120-135, by 18 i'd probably be 5'8-6'1)

    Help is greatly appreciated!

You wanna gain weight? how about this: white rice and some chicken as well as some fruits. repeat this as many times as needed.

To gain weight(especially if you got fast metabolism) you need to eat A LOT of carbs.

I packed on weight with peanut butter sandwiches....I'm talking 20 a day! Throw some sliced bananas in there! That's a decent diet you got there, I'd substitute the white bread for whole wheat. The fibers will help you digest it it better, and you absorb more nutrients that way.

oh and also, if you are like 14-15, you just gotta wait, your maturing stage did not come yet, once the hormones kick in you will gain weight.

Thanks i'll eat whole wheat. Btw i'm allergic to peanut. So i guess i can stick
with my breakfast for now, and just change the breads like you said.

sorry Flamin, didn't know you get a reaction to peanuts. That's ok, how about potatoes? And DON'T take off the skin....that's where all the vitamins are!

Ay, check this out, it is best to eat 5 times per day (breakfast 7:00am, brunch 10:00am, Lunch 1:00, pre-workout shake 4:00, dinner 6:30. That should be a 4,000 calarie diet, which is necessary to gain weight. And of course NONE of these meals should be McDonalds!

im in the same predicament as you. what i've been told is to eat a lot of food with carbs. what i would do is add a bowl of cereal with milk and a baked potato or something since breakfast is the most important meal.
