Its as many as you can in 60 seconds. They're happy with anything above 40 but even if you don't reach 40 aslong as they see that you've put 100% in they're happy.

I start my para training 26th august, I done selection in may and was torn between going for a light gunner in the artillary or going for the paras and decided for the latter

Good luck man. What trying have you been doing to make sure you're fit enough?

what time did you have to do the 1.5 mile in at selection for the para's?? is it 9.30?

Pull ups is something i would deffo need to improve on too. i run nearly every night. between 5 and 8 mile. and i swim 3 times a week for an hour. i used to never be able to run far at all but ive been reading about a guy and its inspired me ****loads. its made me realise that its mind over matter and when im running/training to put up with the pain, push through it and carry on.

Have a look. Hes called Dean Karnazes. Ive read about him on wikipedia and seen a few video's on youtube.

                    aslo........... haha

running long distances has always been mind over matter, thts how i see p coy, Its gonna be hard as **** and most likely I'll pick up an injury but you just gonna go through the pain barrier and when you feel you cant give anymore you gotta dig deep and you will come through
