This is not from daily high consumption of water. IT is very rare. Your blood doesn't thin, your body is stripped of sodium. It is called Dilution Hyponatremia. The only documented cases are from long distance running or ultra marathons which consisted of more than 4 hours of continous exertion and sweating.

It can be avoided by replacing lost sodium and electrolytes... i.e. drinking a sports drink. Just be careful with sports drinks because of the sugar content. you do not want to drink too much.

Althoug I do not have much boxing experience I have alot in Wrestling and Sub Grappling. The nutritional needs are very similar.

A really goood place to start is with this article, it is definately worth a read...

        http://www.johnberardi.com/articles/...on/7habits.htm

another great source of really comprehensive information is "The Grapplers Guide to Sports nutrition" It covers daily diet needs while training, diet needs while trimming down, diet needs while adding lean muscle, and how to successfulyl cut weight without starving yourself or using crash diet/steam room techniques.

I may still have it in Ebook form for you if you'de like.
