Right, i'm sorry but its another question about running

I'm going to start running again as i really want to get fit, i used to go to bed fairly early the night b4 and then get up at like 6am to go for a run and then stay up all day.

But now im thinking of going to sleep and getting up at lk 3 - 4am, then going for a run and going back to sleep. Is this good for the body, caus i know the body needs full uninterrupted sleep and will it be bad caus my bodys trying to shut down and relax, then i go for a long run, then i relax again, will it be too much of a shock to my body?

Its just i like to go for a run at quiet times as i live on a main road. i find it better when its quiet out.

So what do you think? / do you do this?

    Thx for reading this

I think the reason a lot of people do running so early in the morning is because they feel it gives them an "edge" over their competition, especially if they are boxers. If you're doing running just to stay in shape, I would recommend running at night if you like to run in a peaceful environment. I don't know how good it is to run before sleep, but I think that its better to get full, uninterrupted sleep and run sometime later in the day. I also heard that its not very good to run on a completely empty stomach (which would probably be the case so early in the morning).
