what tranning are you limeys doing in the summer scene as the boxing season is over and the clubs shut i went the last amature fight with my club. it was last in the whole on england last night up manchester we won our fights n i gatta wait 6 weeks till it starts up agen

Thats **** news Msagrain that you club has closed. Mine is still keeping open, and i know of a few that have cut the number of days its open down aswell - but not closed. Oh well pal.

I haven't been down to train for the past week though, because of the floods! You might have seen it on the news but i cant get down the gym.

when the gym is open they've decided, as its off season that we would train to 3 minute rounds more and do more running. I don't know why, but its a change.

yea i saw that on the new about shefild my gym keeps moving location were moving agen when the season starts its like 3 new places in 2-3 years n were like the poorest gym in stoke lol we canna get a sponsor n it does me head in when we turn up to an evetn ten other clubs get free vans n cars every year n trips to the us ect n whe have the way better fighters do your club get load of free things?

We never got a new van or anything - although i've seen some clubs have got ones of the council. Think they call it "youth inclusion schemes" or something. We have had some sponsership recently though from the council, and got a grant. i think it was about 2000 pound, so were getting a burgler alarm system, new bags and a new ring.

The council are happy to support the gym because its situated in an ex-mining village and its a pretty rough place and it gives the kids something to do other than hang about the shops drinking and smoking pot.

I bet i'll get fat over the summer lol and have to work harder over christmas.

I didn't know that Sting was into boxing? Do you have to listen to there records while you train?

Lol no. The Hailsham Police Force have sponsered our gym.

i bet they give u naff all thell just wont to spend there money on there own police officers

They gave us £500 the other day to put in new flooring, one of the Sergeants is a massive fan and his son comes aswell.
