    Running before match???

Would it be good to do my daily schedule 6:00am 5 mile run before match later on in the evening?? I was thinking go run early in the morning then come back and go to sleep and rest for the rest of the day till match.

Yeah 5 miles is a little excessive...I see no problem with going for a shorter run, especially if it's just a short jog to get a sweat going or to warm up. Even though you'll have all day to recover, there's really no reason to run 5 miles the day of a fight.
